At Carlsbad Premier Fitness Personal Training I will teach you to incorporate strength training, cardio, and nutrition in order for you to boost your metabolism, and make your body become a fat burning machine!

Strength Training

You will receive multiple custom strength training programs designed for your current fitness level. I will teach you proper lifting techniques in a wide range of exercises so you will safely get the benefits with the least risk of injury.

Personalized Cardio Programs

Individualized progressive cardiovascular routine. You will pick the activities together, you will complete them on your own and record the progress in your own journal and will review them weekly with your trainer.

Primary cardio goals as your trainer:

  • Decrease body fat
  • Increase performance in aerobic activities with decreased effort
  • Increase endurance

Sport Specific Training

Whether you are a professional athlete seeking to perfect your game, a determined competitor looking for that extra edge, or an active student intent on achieving peak performance in any competitive or recreational sport, Premier Fitness can help. I will assist you in optimizing your athletic performance before, during, and after the season. Everyone from 8 to 80 is an athlete, including individuals who simply want to be in better physical condition.

Core Strengthening

Core strength refers to the muscles of your abs and back and their ability to support your spine and keep your body stable and balanced. Learn how to strengthen your core, reduce back pain and get strong abs!

Balance Improvement

Many athletes today are using balance training as a part of their overall training programs, both for injury prevention and performance enhancement.  I incorporate a myriad of exercises that incorporate a BOSU ball and Swiss ball to increase core strength and balance.

Nutrition Guidance

Together we will find a nutritional program that will be maintainable over a long-term basis. I do not advocate denying yourself any of your favorite foods but instead incorporate a healthy pattern of eating that will support your fitness goals while still realistically fitting into your existing lifestyle.

Primary nutrition goals as your trainer:

  • Educate you on basic principles of nutrition
  • Cultivate healthy pattern of eating you can use for life
  • Custom nutritional plan.

RECOVERY

The condition known as over-training is when the body is broken down from exercise at a rate faster than it can repair itself. In order to gain from a fitness program, the body must heal/ repair itself to a level it was at before training, plus some more in order to compensate to an increased workload. It achieves this through proper rest and nutrition. I will monitor progress and signs of over-training to ensure you are not put into this state and your fitness gains continue on a steady basis.

Flexibility

Stretching is often a neglected part of a fitness program but is responsible for decreased chronic pain, and decreased chance of injury/ strain. I incorporate stretching into our strength training routines on the appropriate muscle groups between strength training sets to maximize your time and results.

Group and Couple Training

If you have a friend or a few friends interested in fitness training as well, get them together to form your own buddy/group training session. It is a great support system to help reach your fitness goals, while simultaneously keeping individual costs down.
